I came to the BC Dental Study Club over this weekend for 3 days for a hands-on course about crafting composites. And to my surprise the experience was amazing! I got to do a lot of hands-on practicing on different types of issues such as darkened tooth, how to mask it and how to match the neighbouring tooth. How many CE credits does the program offer?

The program provides at least 134 CE credits, with the possibility of more being added as the curriculum develops.

What is the duration and structure of the program?

The program is a comprehensive full-year course consisting of 12 modules, starting in January 2026 and ending in December 2026. It includes a mix of virtual and in-person sessions, including hands-on workshops and live patient treatments.

How many participants are accepted into the program?

The program is limited to 16 participants to ensure personalized attention and a comprehensive learning experience.

Is there mentorship available after the program ends?

Absolutely. We pride ourselves on providing extensive ongoing support after the program concludes. This includes the opportunity to review your first few cases with the instructors, receive guidance on treatment planning, and get support for any complications you may encounter. Our goal is to ensure your long-term success in implant dentistry, so you’ll always have a team to turn to as you build your confidence and skills.

Who are the instructors for this program?

The program is led by Dr. Faraj Edher, a prosthodontist, and Dr. Rana Tarzemany, a periodontist. Both have extensive experience in implant dentistry and education. Additional prosthodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons may join the program as needed for advanced modules or for the live surgical modules.
